Spa Time

Summer is slowly coming to a close as we draw closer to the end of February. We are beginning to feel the autumnal changes with the days drawing to a close earlier and a coolness about the mornings before the sun gets up too high. The ducks are calling loudly from our pond and flying high above us getting themselves readied for the winter months ahead. There are even some leaves starting to turn on some of our trees.

Although I love the long days of summer, Autumn is my favourite season and this liminal time is one for reflection and soul searching as we get ready for the colder months ahead. What better place to do some soul searching than from the warmth of the spa on a cool evening. After the dinner dishes were tidied away and everyone was settling down for a Sunday evening before classes tomorrow I readied myself to head out for some quiet time in the spa. I had a glass of chilled sauvignon blanc and it was so nice slipping into the warm water out of the cool wind The sun had just gone down so the clouds were these beautiful pastel shades against the blue sky. Nature's palate so perfectly chosen!

It was such a luxurious way to end the weekend with no money spent as I found the wine in the cupboard when I didn't know I had any and the spa was sitting waiting for me to join it! Perfect!
