A Daybook of Simple Abundance
Over twenty years ago this book caught my eye in a bookshop and I couldn't resist buying it as the title hooked me in and the concept of a daily reading appealed to me. I was in my late 20's at the time. I enjoyed dipping into it each day and acquired a number of ideas that I have consciously or subconsciously woven into my life. The main one is the concept of gratitude journalling which I started doing on her recommendation. I remember going out and specifically looking for a nice notebook as instructed and finding a gorgeous little hand-made book that was made just for this purpose. Inside was a quote from my favourite author so I took it as a sign and bought it. I filled it out and really enjoyed how it made me find the good things in my day so I had things to write in it at night.
