Gratitude
I've had a lovely day pottering at home doing odd jobs like laundry and tidying up. I started the day with some yoga and meditation this morning then spent time in the study doing my writing course which I am really enjoying. (If you are interested check out dowhatyouloveforlife.com).
This afternoon I ended up spending time with my eldest daughter sorting through photos. She is the child whose life spans analogue and digital photos so they seem to be everywhere! Who hasn't got a million photos scattered between their phone, computer and hard drive?!
On each trip put the clothesline over the day to hang loads of washing or to collect them in I enjoyed seeing the smiling faces of my shasta daisies all in bloom, They always look so sunny and happy. They made the trip out to do chores so much more enjoyable. It reminded me each time to be grateful for the simple things in my day that bring so much pleasure and cost me nothing except some time to stop and savour them.
