Cosmetic Clearout

I am not a big purchaser and consumer of cosmetics but I still manage to accumulate tubes and bottles that clutter various spaces of my life. I also hate waste so I like to make sure I use something up before getting rid of the packaging - recycling where possible. I am known to cut tubes in half to get my finger in to get the last of the cream or product out - it is amazing how much is often still left behind.

I found this almost empty tube of hand cream in my handbag while having a de clutter so I have put it beside my bed to remember to use it up. It is not one I would normally choose to buy - it was in a selection of creams that we were allowed to choose one from as a gift at work. It smells gorgeous!

Even though I have used this multiple times and it is nearly used up I had forgotten about it and hadn't used it in ages. I felt by putting it somewhere I could see I would remember to use it up, clear out another item from my house and get to enjoy the smell all over again. It feels like something new getting to use it again and in a different place from where I normally do and cost me nothing for the experience! 

What do you have buried away in your cosmetic stash that you've forgotten about and could get out again to enjoy rather than heading to the shops to buy something new?
