Music on the Go

With my husband no longer being allowed to drive anymore I am the chief taxi driver at our house. My two daughters have their full drivers licences which is great as i can call on them to help out at times but I still end up doing much of the driving if they are out and about.

Taking my Wonder boom in the car means I can stream downloaded music to my speaker and listen to a range of music while I drive. Our older car doesn't have blue tooth and just has a CD player which does store a large number of CDs (see my previous post) however this is of course limited to the CDs we already own. Our newer electric car does have Bluetooth but it has the girls' phones locked in so I can't get my phone linked in when I drive it without a lot of faffing around.

Taking my portable speaker suits me well as the sound is good and with Spotify I have access to endless music from a large range of genres for one low price for the whole family to use. Much cheaper than purchasing CDs like I used to do in the past at $20 a pop. It just relies on me remembering to download songs via Wi-Fi before I leave home and I'm good to go!
