A Free Book Exchange

One of my favourite things to do when we are away at our holiday house is to visit the little book exchange housed in an old telephone booth down in the town - not something you see around much nowadays!

I make sure I take up some magazines or old books I no longer want so I have something to donate. I love heading down to it and checking out what books and magazines are on offer since the last time I looked.

Much to my husband's chagrin I have been known to spend time tidying it up and I like seeing it tidy and think it makes it more appealing for the next person to come and browse. I like to see if the books I have donated have gone meaning someone else is enjoying them.

Today I got a couple of recent magazines that I wouldn't usually buy but enjoy browsing through. My husband got a couple to read also so he was happy. The journey there, the time browsing and the anticipation of what the pages will reveal followed by the time spent relaxing and reading are all so valuable to me and not a penny spent! Great free entertainment!
