Warming my Bones
I had a productive day in the garden today and felt pleased with my efforts which give me exercise, entertainement, mental offload and improve our home and surroundings. I fed out hay to the cows and got tea ready and by the time I had done all of this I couldn't be bothered lighting the fire.
The house was an ok temperature but as the sun didn't shine today it wasn't as warm as it could have been and as the evening wore on I could feel myself cooling down after my exercise and hot shower.
I decided to hop in the spa with a turmeric chai latte and Netflix on my phone - the triple whammy of a relaxing therapy, a fancy drink and a movie all in the comfort of my own home and no extra money spent. It was the perfect way to wind down and I always find the spa warms me to my very bones - from the inside out - so when I get into bed I feel already warmed and ready for sleep.
I am aware having a spa pool is a luxury but for the small outlay each week in power it is a great asset than provides so many benefits and is well used by all of the family. The warming effect means that we don't have to spend money on other heating sometimes so probably evens out in the end - and as a side bonus it is somewhere to soothe weary muscles and clear the mind so I think we get bang for our buck! It would be my favourite purchase in the last few years and one I would highly recommend if you are considering it.
