Sunset Skies

 The everchanging sky never ceases to amaze me and i love the see all of the colours that nature provides for us to enjoy, if we just take the time to stop and notice them.

This was the sunset we got to enjoy as we left my brother's house out in the country after visiting him and my sister in law for the afternoon. As I am the main driver now that my husband is no longer allowed to drive, I now have the control over when and how often we stop. My husband and family have become very patient as I pull over to capture something that has taken my fancy and I need to immortalise with my camera. This was one such thing and i couldn't let it pass by without taking a record of it and posting it for anyone to see and enjoy. Isn't it beautiful?!

We have managed to get through the whole weekend without spending any money. No takeaways, no trips to the shops, no movie theatre visits (I am sure we are not part of the so-called economy that needs to be continually propped up at the expense of our mental health and the environment!). Over the weekend we have got to spend time watching sport - my son playing - visit with family and binge watch some TV (I've discovered Downton Abbey...) and we even got some jobs done around the house!

Overall a very satisfying weekend rounded off with these beautiful skies to watch as we head home ready to start a new week. I hope yours is a good one!
