Autumnal Colours

 Today was a fairly quiet dy for me as I foolishy overindulged last night and spent today feeling very low key. I had one trip out to ferry a child to sports, managed to finish a book and do some crochet. I even squeezed in a much needed nap this afternoon guiot free (it is MOther's Day today so I decided I had every right to disappear for a sleep!)

I did manage to spend a bit of time marvelling at the amazing autumn colours from our bed room window. The leaves are almost gone from the Lombardy poplars down our driveway so I know I won't be able to enjoy these colours much longer. which I always find a bit sad.

I took this photo the other morning as the sun was coming up down our road. I keep wanting to capture the beauty of these colours to hold forever in my mind. This photo is one of the best ways I can do it and I can refer back to it at any time I want to. The joys of digital photography and the ability to capture so many memories for no cost!
