Ladies Night

A girlfriend arranged for a group of us to go to the theatre tonight to watch a play and it was a great night out. Tuesday nights are not one I'd usually do out on but when someone else comes up with an idea and extends an invitation I realised it would be silly not to go. Turns out it was a great night out!

The play is called Ladies Night and is New Zealand's most successful play which has been performed for over 30 years in a number of countries. zit was even ripped off by a film company without credit given to the playrights (have you seen The Full Monty? A great movie but not an original idea...)

It was so good to go out and do something different - live theatre is so much fun and this one is like a play and a show combined. There was a cost involved but I think it was well worth it as it included dinner plus the show and en evening with friends. I enjoyed having a good laugh and watching the actors perform - especially the show at the end! It was great being part of an audience also enjoying the show and made for something different to do on a Tuesday night.
